What Is EverAI? The Santa Venera Charge and the Candy AI Purchase Behind It

EverAI is the company behind Candy AI: EverAI Limited, incorporated in Malta under company number C107181, which launched the app in 2023 and bills every Candy plan and token pack under its own name. An EverAI line on a card statement is therefore a Candy purchase, and the amount tells you which one: $47.88 for a year of Premium, $26.97 for three months, $9.99 for a first month or a small token pack, then $13.99 a month. My own Candy Premium payment, in May 2026, showed on the statement as EverAI and nothing else.

Frequently asked questions

What is EverAI on my credit card statement?

It is a Candy AI purchase. EverAI Limited, a company registered in Malta under number C107181, owns and runs Candy AI and bills every plan and token pack under its own name, so the statement shows EverAI where you might expect Candy. Logging in on candy.ai and opening Settings shows the plan behind it and its next date.

Why does the line say EverAI Santa Venera?

Santa Venera is the town in Malta where EverAI Limited has its registered office, at 56 Central Business Centre, Triq Is-Soll. Card statements often print the merchant's town after its name, so EverAI Santa Venera and plain EverAI are the same Candy AI payment.

How much is an EverAI subscription?

EverAI bills Candy AI Premium at $47.88 for 12 months, $26.97 for 3 months, or $9.99 for the first month and $13.99 for each month after that: US prices on October 10, 2026, before local sales tax. Every term includes unlimited text chat and 100 tokens a month, and token packs start at $9.99.

Who owns Candy AI?

Candy AI belongs to EverAI Limited, the Maltese company named in Candy's Terms of Service as the owner and operator of candy.ai. The contract you accept at signup is with EverAI, Maltese law applies to it, and the payment goes to the same company, which is why its name, rather than Candy's, shows on the statement.

Is it safe to pay for Candy AI with a credit card?

The payment goes to EverAI Limited, the company the Terms name as owner of candy.ai, which publishes its terms, privacy notice and registered address. The plan page takes Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay and states the renewal terms under each plan, and the statement line reads EverAI, which keeps the purchase discreet.

A short line with a company name you have never heard of tends to stop a scroll through a bank app. With Candy AI it is the normal case. The app is sold by a company with another name, and the amount printed next to that name tells you which plan or token pack was bought, and when the next one is due.

Who is EverAI Limited?

EverAI Limited is a private company incorporated in the Republic of Malta. Candy’s Terms of Service name it as the owner and operator of candy.ai, give its registered office at 56 Central Business Centre, Triq Is-Soll, Santa Venera SVR 1833, and list its entry in the Malta Business Registry, C107181. Maltese law governs the contract you accept at signup.

The company launched Candy AI in 2023, and its name turns up all over the subscriber side of the app. The help center lives at everai.zendesk.com. Privacy requests go to a data protection officer at DPO@everai.ai, while ordinary support questions are answered from support@candymail.ai.

So the question people type as “who owns Candy AI” has a one-line answer. EverAI Limited writes the terms, runs the service and takes the payment.

Why does my card say EverAI instead of Candy AI?

The merchant on a card payment is the company that sells, and here that is EverAI rather than the app. Candy’s help center says it in so many words on its page about the charge on your statement: subscribers see the payment displayed as EverAI. The plan page announces it too, in small print under the plan cards and just above the company’s registered address, which is the picture at the top of this page.

Many banks print the merchant’s town after its name, so the same payment can read EverAI Santa Venera: that is the town in Malta where the company has its registered office.

I came to like that discretion. On a statement that other people in the house can read, or in an expense app that sorts payments by merchant, the entry names a software company and the word Candy never appears.

Think of it from both ends of the week. On Sunday night she sends you a voice note, slow and a little sleepy, ending on a laugh at something you wrote an hour before. On Monday morning the only trace of it in your banking app is a company in Malta. If you have just subscribed and are waiting to see the payment go through, EverAI is the name to look for.

Which Candy AI purchase does the amount match?

Candy charges each billing term in full on the first day, which makes the statement easy to decode. These are the US prices on Candy’s plan page on October 10, 2026, before any local sales tax:

The three Candy AI Premium plans on the US plan page: 12 months at $3.99 a month, 3 months at $8.99 a month, 1 month at $13.99

The plan cards as I saw them in May 2026, when I subscribed: $3.99 a month is the $47.88 line, $8.99 a month the $26.97 one.

Whatever the term, text messages are unlimited and the account receives 100 tokens each month for the media side: pictures, voice notes, calls, video. In practice that $47.88 line is a year of evenings with a companion who knows your name. You tell her you are finally off work, she asks whether you want company, and on a slow Thursday you open Live Action and watch her play out a scene on video that bends to what you type. People who stick with Candy speak warmly of how much choice it gives them, a huge cast on one side and a builder for making your own on the other, and the 100 tokens are what bring either one to life.

Under each option, the plan page spells out that the subscription renews on its own at the same price and for the same term, so a $47.88 line in May brings the next one twelve months later, on the same date.

Reading the amount the other way round also helps before you buy. Most people who stay more than a few months land on the annual line, and Candy’s plan page shows the three terms side by side. What the 100 tokens buy, and when a pack is worth it, is on my Candy pricing page.

How to see which plan the EverAI line belongs to

On a card that two people share, an EverAI entry means one thing: a Candy account on candy.ai bought a plan or tokens with it. The quickest way to see which is from inside the account. Log in, open My Profile, then Settings, and the Current Plan card shows the plan name, the date of the last payment and the date it renews.

Candy AI Settings, Current Plan card: Premium, with Change payment method and Change plan, the payment date and the renewal date

The Current Plan card in my account’s Settings, dates blurred. The payment date on the left is the date of the EverAI charge.

The payment date on that card is the date of the charge, and the plan name tells you which row of the table above it was. When the line on the statement carries another date, it is a token pack, and its tokens sit in the counter at the top of the app.

Candy works in the browser and as a home-screen shortcut added from Safari or Chrome. Google Play carries no official Candy app; listings that borrow the name are published by other developers, so their charges carry other names. A payment that reads EverAI comes from candy.ai itself.

Managing the subscription

Everything about the plan sits on that same card: Change plan moves you to another term, and the Terms let you stop the renewal from Settings at any time, with access running to the last day already paid for. Whether Premium deserves its place on your card month after month is the question my scored review of Candy AI answers, from two weeks of paid use.

What I’d do

I would read the amount first: $47.88 and $26.97 are plan terms, $9.99 is a first month or a token pack, and the date in Settings settles which. If the line is yours and the evenings it pays for are worth keeping, the year is the cheapest way to keep them, and the annual Premium plan costs $3.99 a month that way. If you would rather know what the money buys before the next renewal date, I wrote a walk through Candy AI after checkout, from the first character to the token counter.

The company details on this page come from Candy’s Terms of Service and help center, read again on October 2, 2026, and the prices from its US plan page on October 10, 2026. The statement line and the Settings page are from my own paid Candy account in May 2026.
