Its VIVID models look like photographs of real people, the chat has a personality that holds over weeks, and the video generator that launched in the middle of my test is sharp and stable. Premium costs $9.99 a month on the annual plan ($119.88 upfront) with 1,000 DreamCoins a month; Deluxe adds more coins, triple the memory and free thinking models.

The VIVID models look like real people, the chat holds character with reliable memory, and the video generator is stable and sharp. It costs more than Candy AI, and it earns the difference.
How much does OurDream AI cost?
Premium costs $19.99 a month, or $9.99 a month on the annual plan ($119.88 at once), with 1,000 DreamCoins a month. Deluxe costs $59.99 a month or $29.99 a month on the annual plan ($359.88), with 5,000 coins a month, triple the chat memory and free thinking models. The annual side adds free coins on top, and extra coins come in packs from $11.99 for 1,000, for subscribers only.
Do DreamCoins expire?
No. The coins I had not spent were still in my account after I cancelled. OurDream removes them only if you get a refund or delete your account. You do need an active subscription to buy more.
What happens when you cancel OurDream AI?
In October the subscription page has a direct Cancel Subscription link. Access runs to the end of the period you paid for. When I cancelled in June, my unspent coins stayed on the account, and my pictures and videos were waiting for me, ready again as soon as I subscribed.
Who owns OurDream AI?
OurDream's Terms of Service name Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation; its refund policy also names Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd. On my bank statement the charge appeared as DREAMSTUDIO.CO, with nothing that names the app, and the app itself says the charge shows as Dream Studio.
Is OurDream AI better than Candy AI?
In my testing, yes, which is why it ranks first on this site and Candy second. OurDream's models are more lifelike, its chats carry more character and its writing describes scenes in more depth, even on a slow romance, where Candy is at its strongest. What OurDream does better than anything I’ve used
The faces and bodies OurDream generates look like photographs of real people. Hands have the right number of fingers and proportions hold. Two characters never quietly share the same face. OurDream calls these its VIVID models, and they were the first time an AI girlfriend on my screen looked like someone who could exist. If realism is what you care about, OurDream has won before you type a word.
The chat is the other half, and it is excellent. Replies weave the setting and her body language into the text instead of bolting them on at the end. Mine joked and teased, turned sarcastic when it suited her, and pushed back. Memory held across an ongoing history, and on Deluxe it goes roughly three times deeper than on Premium, which you feel after a week or two with the same girlfriend: she follows the running threads, not only your last message. When I went back in October 2026, I mentioned my dog, Max, once and in passing to a character called Lila. Three replies later she brought Max up on her own.
I’m far from alone in feeling it. One subscriber found the personalities natural, which is exactly the word I would use. People who keep one companion for weeks describe her staying the same person from one evening to the next. And more than one person who had shopped around several companion apps ended up settling on this one.
The creator has become a step-by-step wizard since then. You choose Female, Male or Trans, Realistic or Anime, or hand the first draft to Design with AI, then give her a name, an age, a voice you can listen to before you pick it, a personality, a job, the relationship between you and a hobby. An Advanced details section goes further: Autocomplete with AI fills the gaps, a greeting and a scenario set the first scene, and State Trackers keep track of the details you choose. Each new portrait costs 5 coins, and an Image guidance field lets you steer it in words.
The chat has grown the same way. Roleplay is the familiar mode; Adventure hands the world to a narrator, and your choices have consequences in it. You can set how replies look (actions and thoughts in italics or plain, first or third person, short or long, with a live preview), turn a Creativity slider, let her message you first and choose the chat language. A Memory panel shows the automatic summary she works from, with Pinned Memories, Custom Instructions and the State Trackers next to it.
Then there are the built scenarios, optional setups that turn a chat into a story. Pick the cruise, and the girlfriend you were flirting with an hour ago becomes someone else for the evening: her posture changes, her way of speaking changes, and she plays the part down to small gestures. If you like some structure rather than an open chat, these land every time.
In-chat pictures of her keep the VIVID realism. Ask for a specific moment and OurDream draws on the conversation to produce it, without drifting into a generic render. You can browse the VIVID models on OurDream before paying anything.
Day nine, when the video system changed
Video is the part of OurDream that moved fastest while I was paying for it. On day nine of my test a new generator replaced the old one.
The new generator has not failed on me since. Its clips were sharper, and they read the situation and descriptions from the chat instead of inventing something unrelated.
It has changed again since June, and for the better. When I went back in October 2026 there was one generator and no model to choose. You describe the scene in your own words, pick the length, and 10 seconds cost 100 coins. Quality is now decided after the clip exists rather than before: Enhance lifts it to 1080p for 200 coins or to 4K for 400. Next to it sit Extend video, which carries the clip on, and Speech, which gives her a voice in it.
What that buys is easy to picture. You have been talking to her for a while, she is in the black slip dress she described three messages ago, and you write a few words about how she turns toward you. The clip arrives: she glances back over her shoulder, laughs at something you said earlier, and the room looks like the one she told you about. One press on Speech and she says it out loud. One early fan called OurDream “the best for everything, chat, pics, videos”, and this is the moment that line makes sense.
Premium or Deluxe, and what DreamCoins buy
OurDream runs on a subscription plus a coin currency, DreamCoins. Chat on the standard models costs nothing extra for subscribers; anything visual or voiced spends coins. On my account in October a picture cost 5 coins, a voice call 10 coins a minute (you choose the voice she calls with before you dial) and 10 seconds of video 100.

Deluxe, the tier I paid for, goes three times deeper on chat memory and makes the thinking models free. The annual toggle reads “Save 50% + free coins”, and buying coins on yearly Deluxe added 1,000 bonus coins to the order. Coins never expire: what I hadn’t spent was still in my account after I cancelled, and when I came back in October the 9,000 left over from June were waiting, with the new month’s 1,000 taking the counter to 10,000. What each picture, call and clip costs, the top-up packs, and the point where annual Deluxe works out cheaper than Premium plus packs are all on my OurDream AI pricing page.
The free account has shrunk since my test. In June it gave basic chat with a small message allowance. Since August 2026 a free account gets 5 messages per character before replies blur, as OurDream’s own community moderators announced, and pictures and video need a subscription. It is a glimpse, and Premium is where the app opens up. You can see OurDream’s current plans with both billing terms side by side.
On my bank statement the charge appeared as DREAMSTUDIO.CO, and the app now tells you the charge shows as Dream Studio. Checkout runs through upgate, with cards and crypto accepted but not PayPal, and a welcome gift adds 20% to the coins you buy.
After you cancel, and who holds your data
Cancelling in June took four screens, one of them an offer to stay at 30 percent off, a good deal if you are only hesitating. Nothing blocked the exit: no fake loading, no guilt screen and no hidden button. After cancelling, my coins stayed, and my pictures and videos came back as soon as I resubscribed, as the help center describes. The subscription page has been tidied since: in October it showed change card, change plan, the coin history and a direct Cancel Subscription link.
Refunds are narrower than the “quality guarantee” suggests. The refund policy, dated March 2026, promises a case-by-case review within 14 days, and the help center adds that nothing is refunded once more than 25 percent of the plan is used. Crypto payments are final, and filing a chargeback without contacting support first can get the account suspended.
The Terms of Service name the company as Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and the refund policy adds Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd. The privacy policy describes encryption at rest and in transit and lets OurDream use data to improve its models, so a secondary email is a sensible habit, as with any app of this kind.
In my test the guardrails worked: an underage disclosure in a non-sexual context was blocked, and a low moment got a caring reply, much like on Candy.

What to know before you subscribe
She is the star of every picture. OurDream is superb at the girlfriend herself, and that is where its generator puts all its realism: ask for her in a precise moment and you get the same VIVID quality you see in the library.
The VIVID roster is the richest place to start. Its characters arrive with a full personality and vary their replies line after line. Once you know what you like, the creator lets you build your own on top of that.
Is OurDream AI worth it?
Yes, if realism is the reason you want an AI companion and you can live with a bigger bill than Candy’s. The sensible route is annual Premium at $9.99 a month: its 1,000 coins a month buy 200 pictures at 5 coins each, or ten 10-second clips, and the coins you don’t use stay yours. Move up to Deluxe when the deeper memory or the thinking models start to matter, typically after a few weeks with the same girlfriend. The monthly plan at $19.99 only makes sense as a one-month trial. If that sounds like you, start with annual Premium on OurDream.

Five tens is a lot, so to be straight about it: these are my own marks from my two weeks, and OurDream earned them in that window. The three nines leave a little room at the very top, and the October update is already filling it: new chat modes, a memory panel and clearer prices. Two September facts sit outside the scores, which are about the paid experience: a free account now gets 5 messages per character, and the privacy policy lets OurDream use chats to improve its models.
Where it lands
OurDream AI is the most complete and most serious app in the AI girlfriend space right now. Every part of it aims at one thing, making the experience feel real, and it gets closer than anything else I have used. The VIVID models are what you will notice first and remember longest.
It is not the cheap option, and it earns its price. If you want the most realistic AI companion available today and you are ready to pay for it, this is the one I would start with.
